“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” ~Matthew 6:33

Jesus was speaking in this message and reminding his listeners that they have no need to worry about earthly affairs or worldly things. People who do not have a relationship with the almighty God may spend time trying to take care of everything. However Christians serve the Master of the universe. He is God!

In the verses leading up to the 33rd Jesus tells His followers not to worry about anything; what they will eat, what they will wear, tomorrow, and so forth. He reminds them that God even takes care of little birds. Aren’t you far greater in God’s sight than a sparrow? If God will take care of it, then certainly He will take care of you. God says essentially, “I have all the power, just follow Me child, and I will handle the rest!”
