If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. Colossians 3:1-3 esv

Who controls your mind? No one may have ever asked you this
question before, but it is a very important one. Sometime we look back on our
actions for a period of time and wonder why we may be acting out of character.
We focus so much on our actions and not on the mind. God is concerned about our
minds. This is where all of our actions begin. Too often our though life is
motivated by selfishness, greed, and anger. We give the enemy full control to
do what he wants with us. But God has a better way.
Is God controlling your actions? Is God controlling your
mind? The two questions are inseparable. A holy outlook on life creates an immensely
positive impact for your life. A mind focused in Christ is able to smile when
life is bitter. A mind saturated in the Spirit can speak blessings to those who
curse you. A mind where Christ is on the throne will lead you focusing on what’s
important and achieving your God given destiny instead of wasting time in
anger, bitterness, and things/people that don’t matter. Is Christ ruling your
mind? Then you should be happy, healthy, and free!
