Ephesians 3:14-19 ESV
God has called us to live the Christian life in fellowship with other believers. The enemy is good at leading us towards being alone and feeling alone. Problems come and we push people away. We begin to believe that we don't need any help with our problems. We don't want anyone in our business. We know that we can handle anything and everything all by ourselves. So we try and live life alone, but that never works. We even push God away sometimes whether we are trying to or not.
Paul's prayer through the influence of the Holy Spirit is that Christians learn to live life together. God wants us to live in community together! Not just at church, but to know the details of each other's lives. Paul prayed that we would be rooted and grounded in God's unfailing love. This love is our foundation in life and through God's strength we should help each other understand the love of Christ more and more. Christ desires to love us through each other. He designed us to share life's peaks and valleys together. Reach out to a brother or sister in Christ today. Allow someone to reach out and encourage you as well. Hey, we're all in this together!
