Jesus said to him,
Sunday night Kim and I had the experience of a lifetime, seeing Stevie Wonder live in concert. Of course it was amazing. My favorite song he performed was "As." You may know it as "I'll Be Loving You Always." While I always thought this was a typical love song, Stevie explained that this is a tribute written to his mother. I find it to be a beautiful song in that he says he will love her until conditions such as "until the trees and seas just up and fly away" or "until the day the earth starts turning right to left" or even "until the dolphins fly and parrots live at sea." These are obviously events that will NEVER happen. What an amazing way to say he will love her always.
Quite naturally I began to reminisce about my own mother who is in Heaven with Jesus. And the thought welled up in my spirit, "Wow, I will really be able to love her ALWAYS!" Why? Because she knows Jesus and so do I! We may exist in different places right now, but one day we will truly see each other and continue to have a relationship.
If you are missing someone who is with God and you know Christ too remember that your love for them will truly last ALWAYS. Also do your best to make the love between you and all your loved ones last ALWAYS. Make sure they know the one truth that holds the universe together. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Jesus is the only way to salvation, God, and eternal life!
Go and tell somebody!
