Fulfillment-Friday Freedom

Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?
Matthew 6:26-27 ESV

God knows all the things we never can know. Don’t let that frustrate you. Let that comfort you. Not only does Jesus know all that we don't know; He knows the purposes behind everything. They are His purposes. God knows why you’re going through this pain. The Lord understands how losing a loved one will make you better. Jesus can see how your tragedies will eventually be your triumphs, if you just trust Him. God knows and God cares. Just trust Him!

Trusting God and following His will ALWAYS leads to a fulfilling and satisfying life!

Fulfillment-Thursday Thought

If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

John14:15 ESV

Do you love God? That may seem like a silly question, but take the time to stop and really ask yourself, “Do I really love the Lord?” Most of us who are saved are mindful of what Christ did for us. We talk about His goodness. We understand to a certain extent how much God loves us. But Jesus says clearly that if we love Him, then we will follow His commandments.

Truly loving Jesus is displayed by living to please Him. God is pleased when we live according to Biblical principles. WE MUST DO WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS IN ALL AREAS OF LIFE! We have to give God more than lip service and just attending church a few times per week. Real love for Jesus Christ is displayed in a Christian’s lifestyle. Now think about that and ask yourself again, “Do I REALLY love Jesus?” True fulfillment in all areas of life comes from doing God's will!

Fulfillment-Wednesday Word

but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us
Romans 5:8 ESV

We don’t always understand God’s love for us. At times we may even doubt it. Life’s tragedies can make us do that if we are not careful. But what we must remember in the midst of everything life throws at us is that God loves us. Even when it doesn’t seem like He does, God loves us. On top of everything else He proved His love for us by giving up Jesus to die for our sins.

Never forget that God loves you. The world and the enemy will try to make you think otherwise, but don’t believe it. Jesus gave His life up just for you. He laid His life down. He cares about you and your eternal well-being. He cares about you now in the middle of your situation. You may not understand what He’s doing, but trust that He loves you!

Fulfillment-Tuesday Truth

Delight yourself in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Psalm 37:4 ESV

God wants you to be happy. He wants you to have success in all of the endeavors of your life. In those times when you’re wondering if The Lord still cares remember who God is. No one loves you more than He does. No one cares about your well-being to the depth that Jesus does. No one knows what you need more than Jesus Christ does. Leave your situation in His hands. Trust that The Lord knows your desires and wants you to have a joyful life. Get His absolute BEST!!!

Fulfillment-Monday Motivation

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6 esv

God already has your life planned out. You just need to walk into it! There are many benefits of serving a God who is all-knowing, all-powerful, and exists outside of time. He knows everything! He already sees you and me at our greatest potential, in His likeness, and and just like Him. He knows all of our faults and still loves us. He knows our greatest talents and strengths, because He gave them to us, and wants to show how to use them for the greatest effectiveness; His glory.

Line up with God’s will. When you are on the side of the Creator and Master of the universe success is the only possible outcome. In your planning for the future consult the Lord on what He would have you to do. He wants to make you great, but Christ won’t force you into anything. Get the absolute BEST for your life. Seek God’s will!

Answered Prayers-Friday Freedom

Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.
John 14:13-14 esv

God only wants the best for you and your life. Why would else would He have laid His life down for you? In Christ you are God's workmanship. He has created you for good works. He wants to see amazing things take place in your life. Continue to trust God even when you don't understand His methods. David said he never saw the righteous forsaken. God will never leave you. Keep praying.

God will come through!

Answered Prayers-Thursday Thought

Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.
John 14:13-14 esv

Are your prayers in line with the will of God? People love to use a verse like this to claim anything that they pray for. Yet Jesus makes a profound statement. God is not a cosmic genie who grants all of our wishes. For those of us who are saved Christ says that He will do whatever you ask in His name! This is not about saying, "in Jesus' name' when praying, but about the condition of your heart.

Are you praying in Jesus' name? Are you praying for God's will? If Jesus was in the same situation that you are in right now, what would He be asking God for? What are you asking God for? Ask the Spirit to align your will with The Father's. Sometimes prayers aren't answered because God is working behind the scenes. Sometimes prayers aren't answered because we are asking for the wrong thing.

Check your motives!

Answered Prayers-Wednesday Word

Hope deferred makes the heart sick,

but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life.

Proverbs 13:12 esv

Few things hurt more than an unfulfilled desire. I don't mean when your team doesn't win the game, but when a true hope of yours has not come to fruition. There are times in our lives where we know God has promised something to us. We believe it and we can feel Him working in our lives. We see our lives moving in the direction of what we believe God placed on our hearts. Then something goes awry. When a hope is deferred our hearts become sick.

Keep praying. Don't give up on God. He will never give up on you. He wants all the glory from your situation. He wants you to know Him in a deeper way. In His own way and timing your God-given desires will be met in a way that only God can execute. Continue to pray. Continue to trust God. A desire fulfilled is a tree of life.

The Father always comes through for His children. Keep praying!

Answered Prayers-Tuesday Truth

Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.
John 14:13-14 esv

God answers prayers! He may not answer the way you want, but He always answers. God does grant the requests of the righteous, though. Jesus says that whatever you ask in His name, then He will do it. When you pray according to the will of God, then God will fulfill your desires. Why? Because when our will matches up with God's will, then our heart's desires are met.

If your desires are in God's will then continue to trust Him. It may seem as if God has not heard your prayer, but just continue to trust His timing. Believe that He knows more than you. If you really have faith in Christ believe that He is always with you. Even when you can't see Him working know that He is working in your life behind the scenes.

Keep praying. You can trust Him!

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 esv

God sees you struggling. He sees your pain. He knows what you are going through. He has not forgotten about you. If you have accepted Christ then you are a child of the King of the universe. He never forgets His own. God loves you too much to forget about you! Just continue to trust Him. Believe that He is using your pain for a purpose. Stay with the Lord and you will come out stronger, wiser, and better. His unmerited favor will sustain you in your darkest hours.

Show Out!-Thursday Thought

But the people of Israel walked on dry ground through the sea, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.
Exodus 14:29 esv

What is your "Red Sea?" What is that situation that seems so impossible? What is that relationship that you think can't be restored? What is it that's broken and looks like it can't be fixed? What is that habit that you can't seem to let go? Whatever your situation is God wants to use it for His glory!

Could God have taken Israel another route or have given them a boat? Sure. But He gets no credit that way and our faith in Him doesn't grow like that. He wants to do the great thing in your life. He wants to do something that only He can do. Do you believe God? Then trust Christ and have faith.

YOUR MIRACLE IS ON THE WAY!

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 esv

Christ says that His grace is sufficient. His unmerited favor is all that you need. Have you ever felt like Paul? There is an issue you are facing and you just wish that God would take it away? Sometimes God does, but many times He does not. We are left to endure our trial. We are stuck with it. So what do we do?

God's power is made perfect in our weakness. Our shortcomings are an opportunity for God to do something amazing in our lives. God loves to let His children have "Red Sea" experiences so He can step in, blow our minds, and miraculously save us! Anticipate that God is preparing to do something far beyond your imagination if you continue to trust Him.

If you believe that the people of Israel walked across the Read Sea on dry ground, then believe that God is still able.

2 Corinthians 12:9 esv

God knows about your situation. He has not forgotten about you. God is a perfect Father, He never forgets His own. Good parents know the value of teaching their children lessons. People who always get someone else to do hard work for them do not develop the character that a mature child of God must have.. God has not forgotten about you. He just wants to grow you up!

What you are going through right now is bigger than what you can see or understand. God is operating on a much higher level than you can understand. But just keep trusting Him! A trial is just God setting the stage for Him do something miraculous in your life. When it's over He wants you to look back and be able to say "it was all God!" God is growing you up. He is building your testimony.

Just keep trusting Him!

Going Beast Mode!!!

It's the play everyone was talking about after Super Bowl XLIX. Patriots fans were elated. Seahawks fans were in shock and in disbelief. Just feet away from a touchdown and down by 4 points, Seahawks QB Russell Wilson decides to throw the ball to Ricardo Lockette. FAIL. The ball was intercepted.

Everyone was asking the same question, "Why do you throw the ball when you have a Running back whose nickname is 'Beast Mode?'" When you have what seems to be the sure thing why choose another route? That's a great question.

Marshawn Lynch and Jesus Christ have a lot in common. Lynch is known as, "Beast Mode" for his aggressive running style and ability to break tackles with ease. While Lynch was was most likely the sure thing, Christ is always the sure thing! In the most important moments of life don't let the enemy intercept your joy and peace. Let Jesus lead your life. Confess your sin. Give your life over to Him. Do you know where you will spend eternity? You can be with God forever through trusting in Christ.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 esv

Every challenge is an opportunity for God to do something amazing in your life! The natural response to negative situations is sadness, fear, and worry. This is how the mind normally responds to a trial. But mindset matters more than circumstances. Believe that God is greater than your circumstances. He can work it out for your good!

God truly can turn any situation around. Don't believe the enemy;s lie that you cannot win. Believe that God allows His children to be placed in difficult situation so He can step in and get the glory. Every hardship is an opportunity for you to see God work GREATLY in your life. Healed-Friday Freedom

Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “See, you are well! Sin no more, that nothing worse may happen to you.”
John 5:14 esv

Jesus gave this man a stern warning. He had been made well and Jesus warned him not to sin (habitually) anymore or something worse would happen to him. This suggests that his previous condition was the result of some sin he committed. Sometimes it's our own mistakes that hinder us and cause seemingly irrevocable damage. BUT GOD can heal all wounds! Get into The Word of God. Ask the Spirit to speak to you and listen to His commands. Apply the Word to your life and walk. Be free. Be healed. Never run back to what broke you.

Christ can heal you. Be free in Christ!
Go and sin no more!

Healing-Thursday Thought

One man was there who had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be healed?” The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me.” Jesus said to him, “Get up, take up your bed, and walk.” And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked.
John 5:5-9 esv

Are you walking? Are you experiencing all that God has for you? Are you receiving all the benefits of the healing that only Jesus Christ can bring? This man was able to get up and walk only because he had an encounter with Jesus and followed the instructions of The Lord. When we hear The Word and apply it to our lives God does miraculous things for us and through us.

Don' stay down. Listen to what Jesus is saying to you. All His instructions are in the Word. It is up to you to study, meditate, and carry out what The Spirit leads you to do. Christ offers spiritual  healing for all who come to Him. Do you want to be healed? Then don't just hear the Word of God, do what it says!

Healing-Wednesday Word

John 5:5-9 esv

Thankfully Jesus looked beyond this man's excuse and gave him a command. He told the man to get up and walk. After thirty-eight years of suffering and brokenness this man was healed. Jesus spoke a word and instantly the man was able to stand up and walk. There is so much faith displayed in this passage. Jesus did the healing, as only He can, but the man had to believe in Christ to experience it.

Christ gave the command, but the man had to follow it. Without faith he may have stayed down and never knew the restoration Jesus brought to him. What am I saying? The Word of God is what we need to be spiritually healed. We must do more than just hear it. We must apply it to our lives. Jesus is speaking to you and into your life through His Spirit and through His Word. Put what He is saying to action. Your "getting up" may be forgiving someone. It may be going to counseling. It may be making more time for Bible study. Listen to the Spirit. What is He telling you to do?

GET UP
WALK
GET ALL GOD HAS FOR YOU!

Healing-Tuesday Truth

In these lay a multitude of invalids—blind, lame, and paralyzed.[c] One man was there who had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be healed?” The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me.”
John 5:3-7 esv

Outlook is everything! How you perceive the world governs your attitude towards it. If you see yourself as a failure, then you will fail. If you have a positive disposition in life, most likely you will succeed.  Initially, this man saw right past an amazing opportunity. He was laying by the pool of Bethesda which was believed to have healing power. Because he couldn't walk he was unable to reach the pool when people believed it's healing power was activated. Jesus asked the man a simple question, "Do you want to be healed." Stuck on his shortcoming the man replied with an excuse about not being able to reach the pool!

If only he had known that he was talking to the Creator of the universe. Maybe His answer would have been different. Don't look past God. Christ offers us healing in our spirits. Don't let current circumstances or your past failures let you forget that our God is a God of the impossible. You can get up. You can move forward. Believe that God is able.

Just trust Him!

You can get back up again. This man was paralyzed for thirty-eight years.  Jesus found him laying around a pool that was belied to have healing power. The man was waiting for healing, but was unable to do anything for himself. He was broken, depressed, and seemingly hopeless. Hopeless, that is, until Chris came into his situation. Jesus asked him a simple question, "Do you want to be healed?"

Jesus is not interested in playing games. If He asked the man if he wanted to be healed, then Jesus had the power to heal him. Jesus has the power to heal you also. This man was stuck and unable to do anything about this situation. Do you feel stuck? Do you feel hopeless? If so, believe that Jesus can heal you. Sometimes God takes away every option so He can step in show us that He is our everything. Just trust Him. He can fix your situation.

He can heal you!
